Age differences in the dynamic range of brain activity and the implications for cognition
Cheryl Grady
Dr. Grady is a senior scientist at the Rotman Research Institute at Baycrest, and a Professor in the departments of Psychiatry and Psychology at the University of Toronto. Her research uses neuroimaging techniques to determine how the functional connectivity of various brain networks mediates cognition and how this connectivity is modified by age. Her current work includes an adult lifespan study of the structural and functional neural correlates of cognitive control and assessing brain signal variability in relation to aging and cognitive performance.
