Violet Brown

Graduate Student

Violet is a graduate student in Kristin Van Engen’s PsychLing Lab. She is interested in how humans process speech, with particular focuses on audiovisual speech perception, grammatical constraints on lexical activation, and the cognitive costs associated with processing spoken language. She received her B.A. in Psychology with a concentration in Neuroscience from Carleton College in 2017.
