Health Psychology

Psychological & Brain Sci (psychology) 358 - Spring 2021

This course examines the history of health psychology and its place in general health care. We will examine relevant theory as applied to specific topics including stress, coping, weight loss, chronic illness in general (diabetes in particular), adherence to medically prescribed regimens, Type A personality and cardiac risk factors. Prerequisite: U09-100. **Please note: in Spring 2021 this class will be delivered remotely.
