Safe Zones training

Safe Zones training is used to educate individuals on college campuses about Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer/Questioning (LGBTQ) issues and help participants become better allies to LGBTQ students, staff, administrators, and faculty. After this training, you’ll be able to display a WUSTL Safe Zones placard outside your workspace, indicating that you can be an ally for those in the LGBTQ community at WUSTL or for those who spend time in our buildings. Graduate students can count this training toward their PD requirement if they have not already counted another departmentally-sponsored Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion training.

We encourage you to attend this training and actively participate in the discussion. It is NOT necessary to RSVP, but we’d appreciate if you can let us know if you plan to attend so that we can get a head count and share the workshop manual in advance. Hope to see you there.

Thanks,
Tammy and Renee
