PSYCHOLOGICAL & BRAIN SCI (PSYCHOLOGY) 358

This course examines the history of health psychology and its place in general health care. We will examine relevant theory as applied to specific topics including stress, coping, weight loss, chronic illness in general (diabetes in particular), adherence to medically prescribed regimens, Type A personality and cardiac risk factors. Prerequisite: U09-100. This course is fully online. Students enrolled in day classes at Washington University should review the policies of their home division on credit earned for online courses.
