I am very pleased to announce that the Master of Science in Applied Psychology Program at the University of Southern California has begun its admissions process for the 2022-2023 academic year. This timely accelerated, one-year, fully on-campus degree program is at the intersection of psychology theory, research, and practice in business settings. At this point in time, this degree is highly relevant.
The world of consumers and employees continues to be an upheaval from the pandemic and social issues. The Master of Science in Applied Psychology focuses directly on these two crucial areas by studying both consumer psychology and organizational psychology, which are highly relevant in today’s challenging times.
This program is unique for its career preparation of psychology and liberal arts graduates. A required practicum in a business setting in Los Angeles and a research treatise capstone are highlights of the program. Students have held internships in consumer insights, organizational development, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), user experience (UX), people operations & culture, talent acquisition, organizational consulting, and social media communications, amongst many fields.
This highly selective program continues to grow, with over 500 alumni in the United States and worldwide. I encourage you to send us prospective students who seek to use psychology in a real-world setting other than in a clinical context. The education and the support they will receive by joining our diverse student body at the University of Southern California is cutting-edge and challenging. You can refer a student directly to our department via the link below.
Please forward this email to your faculty, student organizations, and others who advise students regarding post-graduation career options. We are eager to receive applications from students who seek to apply their social science background to lead organizational change in the future. Please find attached a one-paged informational brochure and student spotlight profiles for your reference.
Sincerely,
