Wash U's Learning Center

The Learning Center, now located on the lower level of Mallinckrodt Center, is the hub of academic support at Washington University. The Center provides a wide range of resources that can enhance your success both inside and outside of the classroom. Through participating in its programs, you will not only receive content-specific support but also develop the life-long skill of "learning how to learn."

The Learning Center provides peer coaching and resources designed to help students improve academic skills such as time management, reading comprehension, and study strategies. It also offers low-cost, on-campus MCAT and GRE prep courses. Moreover, Learning Center staff are available to meet with you individually anytime between 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Additionally, The Learning Center's course-based programs primarily offer support for students enrolled in foundational undergraduate courses, but its offerings are continually expanding. These programs include Peer-Led Team Learning, Residential Peer Mentoring, and Academic Mentoring sessions, which are held in various locations on the Danforth campus.
