Beginning in 1982, the Mid-America Undergraduate Psychology Research Conference (MAUPRC) is one of the oldest and most successful conferences of its kind in the United States. Providing undergraduate students with a forum for presenting their research remains the focus of the MAUPRC. Equally important is the opportunity for professional development of students who are to become future professionals in psychology and other fields.
Undergraduates are invited to present their research in a convention format. Empirical, theoretical, and review papers are eligible for submission. Each paper must be sponsored by a faculty member. There is no limit to the number of presentations submitted from a particular institution, nor is there any limit on the number of papers sponsored by a faculty member. Presenters are expected to be undergraduate students, although they need not be psychology majors.
All abstracts are submitted online (https://www.mauprc.org). Students may present their research as a talk or a poster. (The number of posters is limited.) All persons attending the conference must register and pay $30 by April 1, 2020. Abstracts are due the same time as online registration. Registration after this date is possible only at the door of the conference. The registration fee covers a printed copy of the conference program, continental breakfast, and lunch.
