Derek Alexander Simon
Graduate Student
Derek is a graduate student in Dr. Joshua Jackson’s Personality Measurement and Development Lab (PMaD Lab). His main research interests focus on the contextualization of personality, looking at the dual impact of the person and the situation on behavior, and at how personality is dynamically expressed in daily life. Before joining the PMaD Lab, Derek earned his B.S. in Psychology at the University of Florida and was the lab manager of Dr. Erin Westgate’s Florida Social Cognition & Emotion Lab.
