Ruth Altmiller
Graduate Student
Ruth is a graduate student in Kristin Van Engen's lab. She is interested in children's perception and understanding of speech in an accent or dialect different from their own as well as how attitudes and beliefs about language impact classroom instruction. Ruth received her B.A. in Linguistics from Washington University in St. Louis in 2014 and her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from Boston University in 2017.
