Katherine Lopez is a graduate student in the Cognitive Control & Psychopathology Lab working with Dr. Deanna Barch. Katherine is interested in understanding the neural mechanisms that support various cognitive-emotional processes. She looks forward to applying various imaging techniques to investigate the neural substrates of emotion regulation in depression and anxiety disorders. Katherine graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in Psychology and spent the subsequent five years doing imaging and neuropsychological research at the National Institutes of Health.
