Ruthie is a graduate student in Kathleen McDermott’s Memory and Cognition Lab, where she studies human learning and memory. Her primary interests are in using both behavioral and neuroimaging techniques to better understand the mechanisms that underlie successful learning and retrieval of information from long-term memory. She is also interested in how these mechanisms change across age. She received her B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis in 2016.
